Kingston United Soccer Club made an impressive showing at the 2024 Adidas Clash Tournament in Greensboro, North Carolina, over the weekend. The club sent six teams to compete against top-tier competition from across the region and came home with three division championships, along with strong performances from the rest of the teams.
Three teams captured the spotlight, earning Division Champion titles:
The U11 Girls
The U12 Boys Gold
The U12 Boys Black
Beyond the champions, the other three Kingston United teams competed fiercely, demonstrating remarkable growth, grit, and sportsmanship. Their efforts added to the club’s proud representation at this renowned event.
The Adidas Clash Tournament, known for its competitive field and challenging matchups, drew over 600 teams from across several states, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, and Georgia. This high-level competition provided Kingston United players with invaluable experience and an opportunity to showcase their talents on a regional stage.
“Our players poured their hearts into every match this weekend, and it showed,” said club president Justin Schools. “We’re incredibly proud of our champions and all of our teams who competed with such spirit and determination. It’s not just about the results—it’s about the way our players carried themselves on and off the field.”
