ABOUT TRAVEL SOCCER
Experience the pinnacle of soccer excellence with Kingston United Soccer Club's travel soccer program, catering to ages 8U to 19U. As we expand, we're creating more options and age divisions. Our ultimate goal is an elite program for top 13U and older teams. We're dedicated to establishing an exclusive elite program for outstanding 8U and older teams, fostering exceptional skill, strategy, and commitment. Players below 8U are encouraged to explore Conway Parks and Rec's recreation division. It's a nurturing environment where fundamental soccer skills are honed, and the joy of the sport is celebrated.
JUNIOR ACADEMY (8U - 12U): Nurturing Young Talent
The Junior Academy is meticulously designed for players aged 8 to 12, who exhibit immense dedication and a keen desire to elevate their game to the next level. As they transition from recreational soccer, these young athletes are introduced to the intricacies of competitive travel soccer. Our regional and state league participation involves around 8-12 games each season, accompanied by engaging in 2 fall and 2 spring tournaments.
Selection into teams occurs through a comprehensive player evaluation process in May, with those chosen continuing on the same teams for both the Fall and Spring seasons. Supplementary evaluations may be held post-fall season if necessary. Under the guidance of our Academy Technical Director and dedicated coaching staff, players adhere to a meticulously crafted professional curriculum. This curriculum emphasizes personal skills development, tactical insight, and physical prowess.
Junior Academy paves the way for progression into our Academy program as players reach the 13U age group.
ACADEMY (13U - 19U): Taking Excellence Further
Designed for dedicated players aged 13 to 19, our Academy program marks the pinnacle of learning and growth in the world of soccer. As participants transition from Junior Academy or recreation soccer, they delve into a heightened level of competitive travel soccer. Involvement in regional and state leagues translates to approximately 8-12 games per season, accompanied by 2-3 fall and 2-3 spring tournaments.
Player selection takes place through thorough tryout sessions in May, with those chosen continuing with their respective teams for both the Fall and Spring seasons. Similar to the Junior Academy, supplementary evaluations might be conducted after the fall season, if required. The professional curriculum, crafted by our Academy Technical Director and expert coaching team, emphasizes individual prowess, tactical acumen, and physical development.
While the 13U and 14U teams have the opportunity for year-round soccer, the 15U and older players partake exclusively in the Fall season due to the prevalence of High School soccer in our region during the Spring Season.
