Kingston Participates in the Adidas Clash Tournament
Conway, SC (November, 2023) -
Kingston United Soccer Club marked a significant achievement at the recent Adidas Clash Soccer Tournament held in Greensboro/Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The club's participation, featuring all four of its teams, culminated in a Championship for the Boys U12 team, who won their division.
The tournament, renowned for its competitive spirit and high level of play, saw teams from across multiple states including NC, SC, VA, TN, GA just to name a few. Kingston United's representation across multiple age groups highlighted the club's depth of talent and commitment to developing young players.
The Boys U12 team, in particular, stood out with their exceptional performance. Demonstrating a blend of tactical acumen and athletic prowess, they navigated through a series of challenging matches. Their path to victory was marked by a series of well-fought games, showcasing not only individual skill but also remarkable teamwork. They finished the weekend with a 4-0 record and won their Championship match in Sunday 1-0.
"The success of our U12 boys is a testament to the hard work and dedication of not only the players but also their parents and support staff," said club president Justin Schools. "This win reflects the strength and spirit of the entire Kingston United Soccer Club."
The other teams from Kingston United also showed commendable performances, each displaying growth and competitive spirit. Their participation in such a high-profile tournament is seen as a valuable experience, contributing significantly to the players' development.
